Who is Scientific Voice?

 LAURA MARSH LYNNER

Laura Marsh Lynner is the EVP, Managing Director of Scientific Voice, part of the Publicis Healthcare Communications Group. She started her career in chain drug sales for UNILEVER and later joined Einson Freeman, a consumer promotions marketing organization. Having broadened her skills, she raised funds to start a consumer healthcare publishing company and launched 2 controlled-circulation publications targeted at expectant and new parents. Later, the company and its titles were purchased by The New York Times. While there, Laura relaunched one of The New York Times’ existing titles targeted to women and late-stage pregnancy. She then joined Grey Direct as Executive VP, managing all US operations.

In 1997, Laura joined the medical education company which merged with other companies to create VENTIV HEALTH COMMUNICATIONS (VHC).  She led the management buyout, and later sale, of VHC to Publicis Healthcare Communications Group.

As Managing Director of Scientific Voice, Laura was brought on board to re-engineer and re-launch this leading speaker bureau organization. Publicis Healthcare Communications Group and Scientific Voice were determined to take speaker bureaus into the future and evolve the systems, processes, and teams to meet not just today’s challenges, but to capitalize on tomorrow’s opportunities. Laura’s leadership approach led to the successful re-engineering and launch of Scientific Voice. Her ability to create a vision, build the environment to support the vision, and focus energies toward a common purpose have led to the formation of a team of positive, enthusiastic, and innovative leaders.

Laura has led Scientific Voice to success with a mix of honesty, integrity, collaboration, and inclusion. She is dedicated to treating clients just as she would like to be treated–with honesty, integrity, and commitment.

Laura says that her 2-time breast cancer survivorship has given her many gifts to benefit her career and life journey.  She is an active board member of groups dedicated to breast cancer support and writes children’s books for families dealing with cancer.
